CATUCZA raises funds for the security of the Blue Zone
The Chamber of Tourism and Commerce of the Blue Zone, known as CATUCZA, would like to express its heartfelt gratitude to its dedicated members and all the individuals who participated in the recent fundraising effort aimed at enhancing the safety of our beloved community. This significant event took place during the Chamber's relaunch dinner, where we witnessed enthusiastic engagement from local businessmen and prominent figures, including the Municipal Mayor, members of the Development Associations of Santa Teresa – Malpaís and Manzanillo, along with many residents from the community who came together for this important cause.
Furthermore, we were honored to have the esteemed Former Minister of Tourism and Executive President of Memorable Travel Group, Gustavo Segura, who enriched the evening with an insightful talk on "Costa Rica's tourism model, more current than ever," which sparked meaningful conversations among attendees.
We extend our appreciation to our gracious host and partner, Trópico Latino, for providing us with an unforgettable evening filled with exquisite cuisine and vibrant music that created a warm and inviting atmosphere.
Throughout this remarkable activity, we successfully raised an impressive total of 1,160 dollars. These funds will be allocated to cover the rental costs of the current location housing the tourist police delegation in Santa Teresa, ensuring the well-being of our community as we await the completion of the new delegation building.
